Practice Development Specialist Profile

CDS provides the next generation of business communication. Our U.S. based Marketing Services and Customer Management Center is a new model for progressive companies looking to grow revenues, shorten sales cycles, influence customer decisions, and build customer loyalty. CDS employs the best and brightest professionals because we are communicating directly with our clients’ customers.

We are currently seeking Practice Development Specialists to make proactive calls to established business to business relationships. Successful candidates are sales experts responsible for providing the role of trusted advisor and consultant while providing both strategic and tactical approaches for the growth and development of the business in the medical finance industry. We support maintain, grow and develop accounts; each requires a different strategy. Specialist must have proven lead generation experience as well as a clear understanding of how to drive revenue and influence change on the first call.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with other business professionals
  • Demonstrate investigative skills through effective fact finding questioning and proactive listening
  • Insight to perceive the customer’s needs
  • Call courage; the ability to make new contacts demonstrating persistence with tact and the ability to close.
  • Sensible business acumen and a competitive nature
  • Ability to keep an optimistic attitude and motivate others to act; persuasive personality
  • Team player with good planning and problem solving skills; willing to go the extra mile
  • Must be self motivated and able to work independently toward the achievement of personal and team goals
  • Concise, persuasive and effective business correspondence and documentation.

Education and experience should include:

  • Minimum high school or equivalent, 2-4 years college with degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in sales environment, a medical related field, or client contact/relationship management business.
  • Solid work history
  • Ability to make a long term commitment
  • Preferred candidates possess medical or financial background and/or proven sales record

Compensation & Benefits include:

  • $16 per hour at entry level
  • Ability to earn up to an additional $15,000-$20,000 in annual commissions, paid quarterly
  • 4 ½ day work week; full-time with daytime hours (Mon-Fri)
